How Stayvane works, step by step
Stayvane works in four steps: a free audit from public data, a weekly list of changes you approve in one reply, changes made inside your own accounts through access roles you can remove, and a Friday note plus a monthly report. We never ask for your password, message your guests or hold your money.
What are the four steps?
The four steps are audit, approve, apply and report. You see what each listing is costing you first, then approve changes in one reply, then we make them in your accounts, then you get a short written record. Nothing changes without your yes.
- Audit. We start from public market data, then add your own numbers. You see what each listing is costing you, in dollars, with the assumptions printed next to every estimate.
- Approve. Every Monday you get a short list of changes. Approve them in one reply. Anything over 15% always waits for your yes.
- Apply. Changes go live in your own accounts, through access roles you choose and can remove any time. Never your password.
- Report. A five-line note every Friday and a one-page report every month: what changed, what it recovered, which deadlines are next.
What does a normal week look like?
A normal week has three touchpoints: an approval list on Monday, a listing health check on Wednesday and a short note on Friday. Your part is one reply on Monday. The monthly report and, on Core and Plus plans, a 20-minute call are added each month.
| When | What happens | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | A short approval list arrives, for example: raise Fri and Sat by 12% for November | Reply "approve all" or pick the ones you want |
| Wednesday | Weekly listing health check: fees, minimum stays, calendar sync, amenities and review sub-scores | Nothing, unless we find something that needs you |
| Friday | A five-line note: what changed, what we found, what is next | Read it in a minute |
| Each month | A one-page report of what was recovered, plus a 20-minute call on Core and Plus | Ask questions |
The approval examples above are illustrations of the kind of change we propose, not changes made for a real client.
What access do you give us?
You give us the narrowest hosting-team role that works, with no payouts and no guest messaging, or you approve the weekly list and apply it yourself. We never ask for your password. You can remove our access at any time, and every change is logged with its before and after.
What do you decide, and what do we do?
| You decide | We do |
|---|---|
| Which proposed changes go ahead | Find the changes and explain them in dollars |
| Any price move over 15% | Hold it until you say yes |
| Which channels and accounts we can reach | Work only inside the access you give |
| When to stop | Remove our access within 48 hours and send the change log |
What do we never do?
We do not message your guests, hold or touch your money, enter or run the property, take a cut of your bookings or ask for your password. We also do not file permits or taxes for you, and we give no legal, tax or accounting advice. We prepare dates and figures for you to submit.
When is this not a fit?
Stayvane is not a fit if you want someone to answer your guests, run cleanings or collect your payouts. It is also a poor fit for one or two listings, where the free calculator and our guides do most of the work. In North Carolina we keep to analytics and a compliance calendar, with no changes in your accounts.
Questions hosts ask
Hosts ask the questions below most often on this topic. Each answer is complete on its own, with the figure and the condition that changes it. We last checked them on October 23, 2026.
How do approvals work?
Every Monday you get a short list of proposed changes. Reply to approve all of them or pick the ones you want. Anything over 15% always waits for your yes.
Do you need my Airbnb password?
Never. You add us to your hosting team with the narrowest role that works, or you approve the weekly list and apply it yourself. You can remove us at any time.
How fast do you work with US hours?
Your morning is my evening, so the weekly pricing review lands before your day starts. Calls are booked in US hours.
What do I get each week?
A Monday approval list, a Wednesday listing health check, and a five-line Friday note. A one-page report follows each month.
How do I stop?
Reply to any email with 30 days' notice. We remove our access from every account within 48 hours and send you the full change log.
